Stepping onto the Imagine Patio feels less like walking outside and more like entering a living, breathing sanctuary. Established in 2022, this is the most evolved project within the Trippy House—a masterfully crafted canvas where a passion for the outdoors meets handcrafted artistry. Framed by rich, heavy timber columns and draped in soft, flowing sheer curtains, the patio acts as a dramatic lens looking out over a deep emerald lawn.

The Audio Architecture:

Central to the entire experience is an integrated, multi-channel surround sound system engineered to divide the yard into two distinct acoustic zones. On the pergola side, the system delivers a clear, wide audio layer perfect for socializing. Across the path, the speakers tightly envelope the egg chair lounge, creating an isolated, deep sound pocket that wraps completely around your headspace.

This soundscape anchors a space designed to capture the senses, featuring three distinct phases that let you choose your own journey through shifting music, shadow, and light.

Phase 1: The Daylight Oasis (The Afternoons)

During the day, the yard is focused entirely on the beauty of the natural environment. The space is clean, structured, and vibrant, acting as a calm daytime retreat.

• The Two Daytime Zones: The physical layout divides the patio into two clear areas. On one side, the pergola covers an open deck with wicker seating and a coffee table, acting as a relaxed spot to sit outside during the afternoon. Across the stone pavers, heavy architectural wood beams frame the egg chair lounge, creating a distinct, grounded structure on the other side of the yard.
• The Wildlife & Natural Beauty: The real beauty of the patio during the day is how active the natural environment is. The flower beds and greenery change with the seasons and are deliberately paired with bird feeders to bring constant life to the yard. Sitting out there, you get to watch different birds stop by to eat at the feeders and see hummingbirds buzzing around the foliage, making the space feel like a peaceful, living nature sanctuary.
• The Space to Unwind: The intentional split layout allows you to choose your environment in the sun. The open pergola side provides a wide-open area to unwind with casual drinks or conversation, while the isolated egg chair lounge offers a quiet, shaded retreat to sit back, watch the yard, and tune out the outside world.

Just like the indoor rooms transition from normal light to deeper atmospheres, the patio is built around different stages of lighting. This is the common, day-to-day evening setting—with no flashing colors or lasers yet—used for unwinding after the sun goes down.

• The Warm Lighting Setup: The everyday evening atmosphere is created by two clean layers of light. Classic warm globe string lights run overhead across the walkways and structures to light up the yard uniformly. Behind the seating area at the pergola, a solid, vertical curtain of fairy lights creates a bright, glowing backdrop against the privacy fence.
• The Social Pulse vs. Personal Escape: The two seating zones take on entirely new personalities once the sun sets. The open pergola lounge transitions into an intimate, cozy night spot, while across the path, the egg chair sanctuary shifts into a space dedicated to total sensory decompression.
• The Meditative Sightline: The true engineering of this layout is felt from the comfort of the egg chairs. Positioned perfectly in front of you is a custom wooden water fountain. Sitting back aligns your direct line of sight with the water feature, seamlessly blending the steady, rhythmic trickle of the fountain with the background ambience for absolute relaxation.
• The Landscape Scavenger Hunt: The twilight lighting completely changes how you view the landscape. The garden beds and fence line are highly detailed, turning a look through the yard into an interactive discovery experience. It feels like an egg hunt where you constantly spot new handcrafted artwork tucked into the foliage and borders—from delicate garden fairies and birds to frogs and dragonflies hidden among the layered river stones and dark mulch. Slender path stakes with smooth mushroom caps glow from underneath to light your way, while a single glass orb radiates a hidden, deep blue-purple light within the plants, hinting at the color capabilities of the space.

Phase 3 represents the ultimate evolution of the Imagine patio. While the daytime is for natural nature observation, the night shifts into a tailored, mystical atmosphere built for deep listening and visual wonder. It is a sanctuary where you sit back, listen to the music, and completely lose yourself in a hidden world revealed by the shifting light.

The patio features a unique visual personality where handcrafted art and responsive lighting converge to make the garden feel entirely magical.

• Experience 1: The Rhythm of Light (The Sync Show): When the main audio track plays, the music takes complete control of the space. Multi-colored lights pulse and switch colors right on the beat, while sharp green laser grids sweep low, cutting directly across the patio table to track the rhythm.
• Experience 2: The Ethereal Canopy: As the playlist moves, the colors transition across the entire space. Under the roof, three color-changing neon jellyfish float in distinct areas—one right in front of the egg swing chair above the water fountain, a second on the left side by the wood blinds, and a third hanging from the middle of the pergola right above the table.
• The Living Garden & Art: The magic of Imagine comes alive in the flower beds. The shifting lights illuminate the plants to uncover the hidden decorations tucked away in the garden. As the colors change, they spotlight clay frogs, lizards, birds, glowing dragonflies, and handcrafted wooden hummingbirds, transforming the dark landscaping into a glowing, vibrant wonderland.
• The Deep Sensory Sanctuary: While the moving lasers and changing colors flow around you, the space remains grounded in absolute comfort. Sitting back in the hanging egg swing chair with the warm fairy lights glowing on the floor and behind the wood frames, you can completely disconnect from everyday stress and lose yourself in the movement of the light show.
