Trippy House
THE ART OF TRIPPING!

About
To truly understand the philosophy Trippyhouse2020, you have to look at the physical spaces where the music comes alive. This platform is the digital reflection of a deeply personal, hands-on design journey—spanning the vibrant neon depths of the Secret Room, the chilled sanctuary of the Relax Room, and the open-air atmosphere of the Imagine patio project.

A little bit about me
A resident of Plano, Texas, and a father of three, I am an IT professional who thrives at the intersection of technical precision and creative design. When I’m not navigating the fast-paced digital landscape, I find my balance in the outdoors—whether I’m exploring trails on my mountain bike, camping under the stars, or paddling through serene waters in my kayak with my family and our three dogs. My home serves as my ultimate sanctuary; it is a canvas where I combine my technical expertise with a passion for DIY innovation, transforming every space—from the immersive indoor rooms to the sprawling ‘Imagine’ patio—into a personal oasis of light, sound, and relaxation.

A little bit about my home
Step into the Trippy House, a vibrant and ever-evolving expression of creativity that began in March 2020. It all started with the Secret Room—the foundation of this project—which I designed as a haven for music and friends. This space is brought to life by vibrant UV lighting, showcasing my collection of unique posters and custom-made neon tape art that I personally designed and crafted. In 2021, the Relax Room emerged as a larger personal retreat, providing a deeper immersive experience with expanded UV-reactive artwork and enhanced sound.
By 2022, my focus shifted to ‘Imagine,’ the patio that has become the heart and soul of the home. This outdoor sanctuary is a study in contrasts, where I have seamlessly blended a rustic, cabin-inspired warmth with a sleek, modern aesthetic. At its center, a tranquil fountain and a serene rock garden with Buddha and Ganesh statues create a peaceful, Zen-like atmosphere. I’ve integrated a custom-built high-output sound system to provide a dynamic sensory backdrop, while the space transforms with the seasons—from the vibrant butterflies of summer to elaborate, festive wonderlands for Halloween and Christmas.

This platform will continue to evolve as a living archive. To see how the art and music continue to unfold within Trippyhouse2020, dive into our latest site news and stay tuned for the next journey.
